The 5th Annual "Diamond in the Rough" will be held during the Speedway Spectacular on September 15, 2012 at Leonard Park, 15th & Lynhurst, Speedway, Indiana. 

Day-of-Event Registration starts at 7am.  The Diamond start will be at 8am.

The "Diamond" uses former railroad right-of-way, levee paths, and "undeveloped" connecting paths to highlight the Speedway area's need for smoothly paved walking and riding trails for residents and the general public.

WARNING: The proposed paths will be grassy, rocky, muddy, and at times uneven walking areas, hence: "Diamond in the Rough"

This event is open to walkers, runners, and cyclists of all ages. 

Stay for the Speedway Spectacular, held by the Speedway Chamber of Commerce.  The Spectacular will have fun and games in Leonard Park, including the Parade at 11am.
