What's New

  • Earth Day Project - 3,000 bulbs to plant!  Saturday April 28th, 10am to 1pm, at Speedway Junior High School, 5151 W. 14th Street.  We will be south of the school parking lots off of 13th Street.
  • 5th Annual "Diamond in the Rough" will be September 15, 2012!

    • WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!  If you are interested, please download and return the volunteer form HERE
  • We have won a $150,000 grant from INDOT toward the first phases on the Conrail/Crawfordsville Road trail!  This grant will go toward environmental and engineering study work for this path.
  • Speedway Trails Association worked with the Town of Speedway to get the Federal 2014 Transportation Enhancement Grant. Funding for this grant will be available in 2013. This grant will be used to build the B&O Trail between Main St and Eagle Creek.

Upcoming Events:

  • Join Us!  This Saturday, April 28th, is our Earth Day Project to beautify the area, promote clean water, and help prevent street flooding during heavy rain events in our area.  Meet at the B&O Trail south of Speedway Junior High School, 5151 W. 14th Street, anytime from 10am to 1pm.

  • Pedal & Park will be at the Indy 500 & Brickyard 400!!!
    Speedway Trails Association will provide free secured bicycle parking for both the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400.  The Pedal and Park bicycle corral will be located at 1111 Polco St, a short distance from the IMS 16th Street entrances. Please ride your bikes on 10th Street, when you get to Polco go north to the first building to find the free parking corral.  Volunteers will have it open from 6am to 1 hour after the race is over.
